Arika's wedding practice is a Mumbai-based wedding and celebration planning service that holds all four parts of a wedding under one house: venue, guest travel, production and décor. Guest flights and visas, room blocks at hotels where Arika has stood for thirty years, production from concept to final cue, and décor through Minnt Green Decor.

    Yes — in India and abroad. Abroad, our outbound team and destination partners handle the ground, and our visa desk handles the guests. In India, our hotel relationships handle the room blocks.

    A guest list is a travel programme: flights issued on our IATA number, group visas for international guests, transfers and room blocks negotiated with hotels we work with daily. One house answers for the guest's journey and for the wedding itself.

    Do we need a music licence for a wedding?

    Yes — playing commercial recorded music at a wedding legally requires a licence from PPL, Novex, IPRS or RMPL, depending on the repertoire. We arrange it as part of the programme.

    The licence depends on repertoire — PPL, Novex, IPRS or RMPL, and often more than one. Our licensing desk is an aggregator across all four, so the paperwork behind the music is handled as part of the programme rather than discovered the week before.

05What does it cost?

Fully managed weddings carry a management fee — a percentage of event value or a flat fee, agreed upfront. Payments run to milestones rather than one lump.
